skateboarding

 Namaste bloggers. On November 13th, my class did skateboarding with Ben and Lawrence. My favourite trick was the crab walk because you need to lift one side up and the other. You fall forwards and the foot that stops you falling for this is the one that you put on the front of the skateboard then the other one goes on the back to push. When you're skateboarding make sure to always wear a helmet so you don't get injured. There were two groups. One was with Lawrence and one was with Ben. There's a lot of new tricks that I learned but I'm not going to tell you all of them. I'm going to tell you some bits of a skateboard, one is a wheel inside the wheel is called a bearing. The top is called a deck. It can also be called the top, the thing that makes you stay on the skateboard is the grip tape, the black thing. The front is the nose and the back is the tail. I enjoyed skateboarding because I learnt a new trick.

lego workshop

 

Hi blogger on Wednesday 18th November, two ladies named Vanessa and Clare did a lego work shop with Teana Ako my favourite was making the rocket ship I made a really cool and big one, It had a upstairs and downstairs it was Star Wars and it had r2d2. it had guns and boosts to make it move faster and it had propellers to make it move. the ship had a steering wheel and a target shoot the target easier, It was really fun and easy. 

     

Mangere Mountain

On Monday,  we went on the trip because we wanted to know about Mangere Mountain. We learnt a lot about Mangere Mountain. It had a volcano erupt on it and it had a big crater go into the middle of it. The creator that went into it was called a bowl crater. I learnt how to braid flax but it was stressful because the straps size was so small. My favourite part was going down the mountain because I was jumping on the rocks and being risky. it was really fun fun there until we had to leave.
